Best Dressed - Met Gala 2014

"THE MET GALA, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Istitue. It also serves as an opening celebration for the institute's annual fashion exhibit. It is widely regarded as one of the most exclusive social events in New York and one of the biggest fundraising nights of the city with nine million dollars raised in 2013 and a record of $12 million the following year. The affair, attended by personalities from the arts, fashion, high-society, film and music, has been held at the Met since 1971 and is considered to be the fashion industry's premier annual red carpet event.

Anna Wintour, Vogue editor-in-chief and chair of the event since 1995, oversees both the benefit committee and the guest list, with Vogue staffers helping assemble the list of invitees. Each year the event has a theme, and includes a cocktail hour and a formal dinner. The gathering rivals the West Coast's Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which is said to have more "star power" but less fashion panache. In 2014, the individual tickets cost $25,000 for those outside the official guest list."

Lost in Baby Blue

THE ONE AND ONLY the best summer I have ever had was in 2012. Went to all-my-lifetime dreaming place, Paris such a great experience with my friends. They called it summer, but I called it winter (it's like Phineas and Ferb -- Swinter) haha. I live in tropical country, the place where we can relish and be thankful for the warmness and 12 hours day and 12 hours night. This dress I bought it in H&M when summer 2012. What I love about this dress is the color. No color can compete this, it's like I wish heaven is full with this color :)) Beside that what I love about this dress is the simplicity and feminism. Not showing too much skin, and appropriate with this tropical weather. It feels mild and calm.

Talking about the color and the look of this dress, I decided to wearing this with my favorite heels. The color is nude, so it will match with everything on the top. But sometimes I have to think again and again to wear this heels for shopping walk or go to the event because of the height. Usually I rather wear the middle height one - for example 7-10 cm or maybe shoes that covering all the front side of our feet. With that type of heels, the possibility of your feet will hurt is less than the one who wear shoes that not covering the front side of their feet. Just wear something that can reflect who you are. One of the lessons that my photographer (Fary) gave me is, do not let your clothes control your personality, you are the one that control your personality. It means please do not walk confidently because you wearing something nice, you have to walk confidently in everything you wear, because it means you are the owner of yourself. Thank youu :))

Unopened Road

SEE THE SURPRISE THAT WE HAVE MADE? Taking pictures in the middle of the road is insane! But that isn't insane if we did it in the unopened road like here! The government of Jakarta is doing their flyover project from years years yearsss ago, this flyover is almost finish but, it doesn't open yet, so we utilize it to be a place for photoshoot. This place is quiet and windy. I will tell you a secret, because I still study in high school, it's quite difficult for me to take a lot of looks constantly, but...since christmas-new year holiday is begin, I will try to looking for activities during holidays, like this... 

Usually I bring some looks in one day, so I don't have to back and forth to make a new post. Changing clothes inside car is also challenging and also sweat haha. But after I opened the door, aaaa it was soo relieve and cool, prevailing winds while wearing maxi dress with the material like this is so perfect with the weather in Jakarta. For the country that has four season could use maxi dress that has a warmer material.

La Pureté Bleu

As blue as sky I love my blue dress. It's bodycon but it doesn't hold me tightly, so it's very comfort. My mom bought it for me a year ago, I forgot where it is (of course I think I often forget some things, and I don't why -_-.) The dress is not expensive and very worthy. I can use that dress to go to the mall or a little party, and about the material, it's appropriate with the tropics, like Indonesia.

When my brother was taking the photos, I saw his watch and I asked him to borrow it for a while, then he gave his watch to me. Thank you bro, for lending me borrow yours ;) yay! After that we went to sushi restaurant. We have to queued the line. I don't want to go to another restaurant because it's my favorite one. Everytime I go to the mall, sushi-tei restaurant would be my first choice to get a food. Sushisushi :D
